Jessica Biel has overtaken Brad Pitt as the most dangerous celebrity to search in cyberspace, according to Internet security company McAfee. For the third year in a row, McAfee researched Hollywood’s glamorous stars and pop culture’s most famous people to reveal the riskiest celebrities on the Web. McAfee’s latest report found that searches for Barack or Michelle Obama posed a lesser threat compared to others.
Fans searching for “Jessica Biel” or “Jessica Biel downloads,” “Jessica Biel wallpaper,” “Jessica Biel screen savers,” “Jessica Biel photos” and “Jessica Biel videos” have a one in five chance of landing at a web site that’s tested positive for online threats, such as spyware, adware, spam, phishing, viruses and other malware. Searching for the latest celebrity news and downloads can cause serious damage to one’s personal computer.

Every day, cybercriminals use celebrities’ names and images, like Kim Kardashian and Rihanna, to lure surfers searching for the latest stories, screen savers and ringtones to sites offering free downloads laden with malware. Beyoncé – Number Two for Two Years Counting Pop music phenom Beyoncé maintained her number two position for the second consecutive year, setting McAfee’s record as the overall most frequent, highly-ranked celebrity in the top five.

"Jessica Biel is the most dangerous celebrity on the Web," said the Associated Press in Yahoo! News. McAfee Inc., a security technology company, recently reported that "searches for the 27-year-old actress are more likely to lead to online threats such as spyware and viruses than searches for any other celebrity." In fact, people "searching for the actress have a one-in-five chance of ending up at a Web site designed to damage one's computer."

"Biel isn't the Web's only dangerous star search," said Chris Harris in MTV News. Right behind her are Beyoncé, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Brady and Jessica Simpson. But the McAfee report "was quick to note that President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama were surprisingly safe searches, coming in at #34 and #39, respectively, on the list.

Jessica Biel is the most “dangerous celebrity” on the internet. According to security technology company McAfee, online searches for the actress – who is dating Justin Timberlake – are more likely to spread computer viruses than any other star.

The company – who last year found Brad Pitt to be the most “dangerous” online celebrity – said there was a one-in-five chance that looking for information, wallpapers, images and videos of the Easy Virtue star would lead users to a website designed to cause damage.

Pop star Beyonce Knowles, Marley and Me star Jennifer Aniston, American football player Tom Brady – who is married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen – and singer-and-actress Jessica Simpson also pose a high risk to web users.

Jeff Green, senior vice president of McAfee's product development, said: "Cybercriminals are star watchers, too. They latch onto popular celebrities to encourage the download of malicious software in disguise.

The 27-year-old beauty has landed at the top of McAfee's annual list of celebs whose search-engine results are most likely harboring spyware, computer viruses or other junk that slows your system down. According to the antivirus-software maker (hmm...), there's a 1 in 5 chance (20 percent) that googling Biel could be the gift that keeps on giving if you try to download something having to do with the 7th Heaven star.

Beyoncé, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Brady and Jessica Simpson round out the top five on the list of stars most likely to leave you soliciting your Facebook friends for tips on how to kick the latest computer ailment.
Last year's No. 1 was Brad Pitt and Biel didn't even make the top 10. You could theoretically blame the added exposure that comes from dating Justin Timberlake for her rise through the ignominious ranks, but we'll just say it's 'cause she's so hot.

McAfee said fans searching for the actress have a one-in-five chance of ending up at a Web site designed to damage one's computer. Its the third annual report on the subject from McAfee, which last year found that Brad Pitt was the "most dangerous" celeb online.

"Cybercriminals are star watchers, too," said Jeff Green, senior vice president of McAfee's product development. "They latch onto popular celebrities to encourage the download of malicious software in disguise.

"Following Biel in the report, in order, were Beyonce, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Brady and Jessica Simpson. McAfee noted President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama are curiously safe searches, ranking no. 34 and no. 39, respectively.

Justin Timberlake and girlfriend Jessica Biel have a romantic dinner at Italian restaurant Madeo in West Hollywood on Saturday night (August 22).

Afterwards, the couple attended the Kings of Leon in concert at The Forum in Los Angeles. Other celebrity couples in attendance: Orlando Bloom & Miranda Kerr and Eddie Cibrian & LeAnn Rimes. Miley Cyrus (with actor pal Carter Jenkins), Zachary Quinto, Leona Lewis, Camilla Belle, Anna Faris, Amanda Bynes, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chuck star Yvonne Strahovski, and British model Lily Cole were also in attendance.

Picking up a few food items, Jessica Biel was spotted doing a little grocery shopping at Bristol Farms market in Hollywood yesterday (August 20).

The “7th Heaven” hottie looked a bit dressed up as she carried her bag of groceries to her car, sporting a black skirt and beige blouse with matching shoes.

In a recent interview with Allure magazine, Jessica reiterated her frustration with missing out on more meaty roles because of her beauty.

She expressed, “Yeah it really is a problem.  I have to be blunt,” when asked if her knockout good looks have hindered her plight to be taken seriously by casting agents.

Looking freshly showered and on a mission,  Jessica Biel was spotted in New York City earlier today (August 19). The “7th Heaven” star was dressed rather casually and paid no attention to the paparazzi as she hurriedly made her way to the chauffeured car that was waiting especially for her.And, as  previously reported, Biel’s main squeeze  Justin Timberlake is getting back to his musical roots – he was spotted yesterday leaving a Hollywood recording studio.



As for his latest single with Leona Lewis called “Don’t Let Me Down,” it seems a group of hackers have leaked the track online, and Lewis’ record label is working with the authorities to bring them to justice.
